Schein Research’s robust design incorporates a single throw actuation capable of compressing 600 LBS of force. Perfect for dual access or two stage functional testing. The unit features a rack and pinion arrangement driving cams situated on each corner for smooth even actuation of the platen. Safety pawls are used to insure that the platen will not actuate until the unit is fully closed in the locked position. The design is preconfigured to add an optional linear pneumatic motor drive.
